Attending the recent Ulster Bank DSE dinner to discuss the current lay of the land in the Northern Ireland agricultural industry, Farm Compare were pleased to receive recognition for their innovation efforts with a recent feature in the Ulster Business magazine and news article on their website .
Noted for being “forward thinking” by the top business publication, Farm Compare were highlighted for their work in developing the farm tech scene in NI by launching their new farm equipment comparison website farmcompare.com in May 2019.
Speaking of the event Oliver McDonald from Farm Compare said “This was a great opportunity for industry leaders and to have face to face discussions about the real issues and opportunities within the agricultural industry here. A talking point throughout the dinner was the need for farmers to look at ways to modernise and embrace change for sustainability and growth”.
Highlighting the importance of both current and next generation farmers taking advantage of emerging technologies, representatives from Ulster Bank spoke of the financial and business development support available for farming entrepreneurs.
